A Learning Box Activity

Believe it or not, the average human heart beats over 100,000 times per day! And not just because Valentine’s Day is coming up!

It’s an amazing organ , isn’t it? But do you know how many components make up the heart? What function do they all perform? Join us to have these questions answered and so much more! Of course, you’ll get to take apart and put together an anatomical model of the heart too!

When:

Sunday February 26, 2023

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM) Must register by Friday February 10, 2023 to secure your spot!)

Where:

A Zoom link will be provided upon registration

Materials in the learning box to be delivered prior to the session will include:

• A life-sized, anatomical model of the heart that can be taken apart and put together for learning purposes

No preparation required!

All you’ll need is your model of the heart, your curiosity, a clear workstation , and access to Zoom! Registration by the deadline is required to allow enough time to assemble and deliver everyone’s Learning Box in time!
