(Please arrive by 1 o’clock to allow for quick introductions.)

For Students

Students will choose between playing goal ball and other games. Afterwards, all will learn how to plan for a snack that gives energy and tastes good, too!

For Parents/Guardians

Join us for an introduction to tactile literacy, including the value and importance of Braille and tactile graphics. This will be a great way for parents to learn more about how to best support their child with schoolwork etc. There will be time to share, ask questions, and learn more about issues facing our students day-to-day. We all welcome new ideas about how to provide support and guidance to our students while encouraging  independence.

COVID-19 Precautions

The Colorado Center for the Blind follows official guidelines to limit exposure to and spread of COVID-19 as required by Tri-county Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment. These include social distancing, individually packed snacks, and hand sanitizers available throughout the building. Masks are encouraged, but no longer required.

We look forward to seeing you all here on March 12!
