Baking Up Fall Flavors and Sweet Skills

Join the Colorado Center for the Blind this November for a festive cooking event. Students and parents will roll up their sleeves, measure, mix, and bake their way into the holiday season!

On the Menu

• Homemade Apple Pie
• Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodle Cookies

Our young chefs will learn fun, hands-on baking skills while creating seasonal treats perfect to share with family and friends at Thanksgiving. This is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence in the kitchen, practice independence, and enjoy the sweet taste of success!

Parents will work on nonvisual techniques in the kitchen, too, so they can reinforce these safe and effective skills in their child.
