Colorado Center for the Blind Take Charge with Confidence and Self-Reliance |
Whisking Up Skills & Sweet Treats
Get ready to bake up some fun at the Colorado Center for the Blind! This November, our young chefs will be measuring, mixing, rolling, and baking their way to some seriously delicious treats.
What’s Baking?
- Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodles
- Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Homemade Hot Cocoa
This isn’t just about making something delicious—it’s about learning to do it independently! Students will get hands-on experience in the kitchen as they follow recipes, measure ingredients, use kitchen tools, and create treats they can be proud of.
Come spend the afternoon baking, learning new skills, and enjoying some sweet treats with friends!

The Colorado Center for the Blind is a training center and community of blind and low vision people, proudly affiliated with the National Federation of the Blind.
We believe blind people can do anything. Every day, we encourage and challenge each student—and they come to understand their potential as they build the skills and confidence to live the life they want. Because when you believe in yourself and experience a thriving community of positive blind people, nothing can hold you back from pursuing your dreams.
