Confidence Camp
SAVE THE DATE
The Colorado Center for the Blind is excited to announce our 2026 Confidence Camp, proudly hosted by the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind.
This four day daytime program for students ages 5–10 is designed to build confidence through learning, challenge, friendship, and fun. Campers will engage in hands-on activities while learning from competent blind role models who provide mentorship and encouragement every step of the way.
Throughout the week, students will explore essential skills such as cooking, cleaning, Braille, independent travel, and technology—all in a supportive and empowering environment. And they’ll go on fun outings and field trips!
Dates: June 15–18, 2026
Location: Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind, Colorado Springs
The Colorado Center for the Blind is a training center and community of blind and low vision people, proudly affiliated with the National Federation of the Blind.
We believe blind people can do anything. Every day, we encourage and challenge each student—and they come to understand their potential as they build the skills and confidence to live the life they want. Because when you believe in yourself and experience a thriving community of positive blind people, nothing can hold you back from pursuing your dreams.
