The Colorado Center for the Blind is sponsoring an interactive, one-week program for Blind and Low Vision children ages five through eleven.

The highly qualified staff, including certified TVIs, will work with students in a variety of age-appropriate areas. Your child will meet competent Blind role models who will work with the kids on basic meal prep, cleaning, Braille, independent travel, and technology. The kids will learn about public transportation. They’ll have fun playing games, having fun outside, and applying skills in fun interactive ways.

Fee: $100, which covers the weeklong camp and all activities. Ask about scholarships if the fee creates a financial burden.

As many of you know, we normally use learning shades (blindfold) in our programs, but we do not require them in the elementary program. However, we will require that all students use a cane.
