    Success leads to more success! It’s our third vaccination clinic tomorrow!

    Tuesday from 1-2:30 in the CCB parking lot (or out on the cool, green lawn like last time) our partners will be back to give second vaccinations to those who received the first round in June, which was our second clinic.

    And there will be first doses of Moderna available for any who desire to get one tomorrow, too. No need to call or make an appointment, just walk in with your sleeve rolled up!

    The National Federation of the Blind is offering three virtual programs of the NFB BELL Academy this summer to prepare blind and low-vision children to grow into confident and independent blind people by enhancing their education. Options are available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.

    Receive Braille and other fun materials for lessonsConnect with experienced teachersBuild relationships with other blind students and mentors.

    Take advantage of this opportunity for your child to connect with blind role models and more by applying for one of the following sessions:

    Can learning fractions actually be fun? Of course it can –and pizza can help!

    We invite blind/low vision school-age kids to learn about fractions by making pretend pizzas. We will send all participants the materials that are required for this activity.

    Real pizzas not provided. (sad face)

    Please register your student by August 20, 2021 to allow time to send Learning Box materials to you. You will receive Zoom information via email a few days before the activity.
