Ever Looked at a Tactile Picture of the Colorado State Bird?

Explore tactile examples of the state mammal, tree and more. Use a tactile outline and colorful air-dry clay to create the Colorado State Flag! It is all in this month’s Learning Box activity – a book about Colorado with five unique tactile graphics

Register by this Sunday and receive your Learning Box before April 25. We’ll read a short story, which you can get in 18 point large print and Braille. Along with the outline of Colorado’s flag, there will be Four tactile pictures with magnetic backing that students can insert into the book as we read.

This book and the activity are designed for elementary, middle and high school students who are blind or low vision.

When will this Learning Box activity occur?

April 25, 2021, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Preregistration is required by Sunday, April 18 so that Learning Boxes can be prepared and shipped in time. Please register your student at the link below.
